Treneecia Gilmore began her healthcare career as a Nursing Assistant, a role she held for nine years. During that time, she gained invaluable experience working in nursing homes, home care, hospice, and post-surgical services. This foundation allowed her to develop a deep compassion for patients and families while learning the core principles of bedside care.

After nearly a decade as a Nursing Assistant, Treneecia advanced her career by earning her Registered Nurse (RN) degree. She has now been a practicing RN for ten years, accumulating over 19 years of experience in healthcare. As a nurse, she has worked across a wide range of specialties and settings, including skilled nursing, home care, medical-surgical units, long-term acute care (LTAC), travel nursing across the United States, rehabilitation hospitals, cardiac care, and orthopedic care.

Her leadership skills led her to serve as both Director and Assistant Director of two skilled nursing facilities, where she managed teams and oversaw patient care operations.

Beyond nursing, Treneecia also developed expertise in transportation and logistics. She co-managed a box truck company with her husband and currently helps operate a dump truck company. These combined experiences in healthcare and transportation inspired her to create her own business, Legacy Medical Transport Services.

Legacy Medical Transport Services reflects the totality of her professional background, incorporating both her extensive medical experience and her transportation management skills. Her company specializes in providing safe, reliable non-emergency medical transportation, including trips to and from medical appointments, medication pick-up, and delivery of medical supplies and goods. Additionally, she offers Concierge Nursing Services, delivering personalized in-home healthcare tailored to each client’s unique needs. This allows patients to avoid unnecessary trips to urgent care or hospitals, instead receiving high-quality care in the comfort of their home.

What makes Treneecia’s approach stand out from traditional home care agencies is her focus on customized, client-centered care. She believes in tailoring services beyond just clinical needs—for example, if a client requests something as simple as shoe shining every Tuesday, she is willing to incorporate those personal touches into their care plan.
